Thank you Kamwokya (kamccc.org)

To the management, the entire present and past employees of Kamwokya Christian Caring Community!

Please, allow me convey my heart-felt greetings to everyone and THANK YOU for the good work in our lives and the community!

I was browsing the internet, and I came across this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-UFGM4OJuzk). I took time to play it again and again, and up to know I can tell you it plays in my heart. But WHY does it play in my heart?? WHY?? It play because of one thing! The message it carries with it. I have managed to lookup all the lyrics in the background song which I pray to reproduce hereunder!

"You Raise Me Up"

When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary;
When troubles come and my heart burdened be;
Then, I am still and wait here in the silence,
Until you come and sit awhile with me.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.

There is no life - no life without its hunger;
Each restless heart beats so imperfectly;
But when you come and I am filled with wonder,
Sometimes, I think I glimpse eternity.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.

You raise me up... To more than I can be.

I decided to change it by replacing you in the song with KAMWOKYA!!

The song should now go as follows:

Kamwokya raised me up

When I was down and, oh my soul, so weary;
When troubles came and my heart burdened be;
Then, I was still and waited there in the silence,
Until Kamwokya came and sat awhile with me.

Kamwokya raised me up, so I can stand on mountains;
Kamwokya raised me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on her shoulders;
Kamwokya raised me up... To more than I can be.

Kamwokya raised me up, so I can stand on mountains;
Kamwokya raised me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on her shoulders;
Kamwokya raised me up... To more than I can be.

There was no life - no life without its hunger;
Each restless heart would beat so imperfectly;
But then you came and I am filled with wonder,
Sometimes, I think I glimpse eternity.

Kamwokya raised me up, so I can stand on mountains;
Kamwokya raised me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on her shoulders;
Kamwokya raised me up... To more than I can be.

Kamwokya raise me up... To more than I can be.

THANK YOU KCCC

You will always be on my mind

It is nice to be back viewing the work of KCCC. God bless all of your efforts. I wish there was a way to make a donation to KCCC through a national NBO here in America as I have found it lately impossible to send a donation directly to Uganda to your bank account ..... For the time being I have been making tax exempt donations to Catholic Releif Services here in America believing that the money I send is earmarked for AIDS programs in Uganda. Hopefully you are receiving some of this earmarked donations from CRS each year.

I would welcome a way to be able to make KCCC donations with a USA tax exemt guarantee through an American based not for profit organization. Let me know if anything develops from your end.
